 Apple TV 2G

The Apple TV 2G is the second generation of Apple's digital media player, and it was released in September 2010. It featured a small black box design with an HDMI output for connecting to a TV or monitor. The Apple TV 2G had a maximum resolution of 720p and supported Dolby Digital 5.1 audio.

The Apple TV 2G was powered by Apple's A4 system-on-chip, which included a 1 GHz processor and a PowerVR SGX535 graphics processor. It had 256 MB of RAM and 8 GB of internal storage for storing media content.

The Apple TV 2G supported streaming media content from a variety of sources, including iTunes, Netflix, YouTube, and Flickr. It also included AirPlay support, which allowed users to stream content from their iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch directly to the Apple TV.

The Apple TV 2G ran on a modified version of iOS, which provided a simple and intuitive interface for browsing and playing media content. It could be controlled using the included silver aluminum Apple Remote, which featured a clickable navigation pad and a few buttons for playback control.

While the Apple TV 2G was a popular device at the time of its release, it was eventually replaced by newer models that supported higher resolutions and additional features, such as Siri voice control and support for third-party apps.
